Oh....to be a kid again.

So this weekend our church put on a fundraiser for our missions trip. I am not going, however my father and brother are. They are going to Mexico this year. So, to raise money, our church hosted the first annual Faith, Famiy and Fun day out at the peanut festival fairgrounds. We had several churches come and sing and we also had b and b inflatables come out and set up several of their inlatables. It was so much fun. Even for us big people. I used the excuse that I was "helping" my 2 year old nephew, Nathan get up on the big slide. Jeremy and I halped people strap in on the bungee basketball blow up. That was so much fun just watching people trying to make the shot. My dad and one o fhte other deacons from the church participated in that one. My Dad won....Go Dad!!! Haha. My family, well at least my dad and me are very competitive. All day Saturday it rained. It was a good thing that everything was inside so no one got wet. However the rock wall challenge was outside. Just so happens my Dad was incharge of that one. I am shocked that I am not sick. I was standing under this small tent by my Dad when he cahllenged me to climb this 30 foot rock wall. I said, "Dad, are you crzy. It is raining". He looked at me and said, "so"! So I had to do it now. He asked me which side I wanted to start out on and I said, "the hardest". haha. I made it half way up. I think I would have made it if it wasn't as slippery. They had taken a lot of the pegs that help you up on that side just to make it harder. So, I tried the second level....the middle. I made it all the way to the top and then my Dad, Yeah he is 58 this year, started climbing the one to my right. He was shaking the wall. I fell. Oh and my Dad said when you repel down, kick off the wall. Duh, I knew that one. However, I forgot it was raining. I kicked off and my foot slipped whe I pushed off. So, when I did that, It truned me around and my back hit every peg all the way down. Didn't hurt as bad as it sounds. So, as everyone is laughing at me...not only because I am out in the rain and soaked, it was just funny to some people..inclucing the pastor. Ok, so this made me try again.... made it and then I did the next wall. Jeremy was laughing at me. Oh and for the record, He didn't go up it...just saying. When your get to the top, there is this skull you have to put your hand in to ring the buzzer. So, when I get to the top, I laid on it and didn't let go. I guess you could say I was aggrivating people. But , I deserved it. I made it and it was storming. The last time I was up there, it starting to really storm so I came down really fast. Today I amd so sore. But is was worth it. This is not the picture that I took, but this looks like the wall.

The last SUPPER

Photobucket

That is all I am going to say. The Lord's Supper of better know was the Last Supper. This was the last supper the Lord ate with his apostles and deciples before his death.

supper/dinner

This is a very short blog in respose to Hila's blog on Monday (March 31). So I have done more research on this issue on the breakfast/lunch/SUPPER. My husband agrees with Hila. I am ashamed to say in church this past Sunday I was telling him about the "disagreement" that Hila and some other people were having about this issue on eating times. The reason I told him about it is that I saw in the bulletin where the SUPPER menu and prices were listed. He said it was breakfast/lunch/dinner. I expect him to disagree with me, he always does. I could say that the flowers are yellow. He would say gold. That's just my Jeremy. However I will over-rule him because I can and this is My blog. So. That is that and this is this. My eyes are itching (they are mowing the grass for the 2nd here at the library). I also have to do some other things around here so talk to yall guys soon, maybe over supper some time.
